Who Am I?

Well, most relevantly to you, I’m a Creative Writing major from QUT who really likes the English language. I have professional experience as both a writer and editor, and have worked on everything from short form comedy and picture books to unwieldy romance novels and grant applications.

But the achievement I’m easily the most proud of is being the person in my friend group people send Serious Documents™ (communications with lawyers, landlords, and ex-boyfriends) to before they go out to the intended recipient. My friends can trust that I won’t let them out into the world with their future tenses wrongly conjugated, and so can you!

I am particularly good at mimicking voice, and I always aim to make sure my edits are frictionless. I preserve your vision and intention with your work, not barge in with a hammer and start renovating things to my taste.

One last note: I like to keep things light in professional communications (the way I see it, there are already more than enough reasons to avoid opening your email. I don’t want to be another one!). But I promise that I can deploy the “to whom it may concern”s with the best of them. Whatever you need, I can provide.
